"The last shall be first"—or so they say! And it couldn’t be more tense on the Flemish amateur pitches. While teams in 2nd Amateur A are fighting for survival, two teams are still in a head-to-head battle for the title in 2nd Amateur B. For this final matchday, all games will be played simultaneously this Sunday.
2ND AMATEUR DIVISION A FIXTURES
Westhoek 🆚 Oostkamp
While Oostkamp has nothing left to lose, Westhoek must win to stay up! Westhoek secured a 0-3 victory in the reverse fixture, and we see history repeating itself: a Westhoek win with over 2.5 goals.
Gullegem 🆚 KalkenEn
Gullegem is well and truly alive after last weekend’s victory against KVDO, confirming their red-hot form with a perfect 9/9 points! While their fate isn’t entirely in their own hands, they must win to survive. Looking at their results from the last three weeks, we’re calling it: a Gullegem win, over 2.5 goals, and both teams to score!
Oudenaarde 🆚 KV Mechelen b
Another match on a knife-edge. Both teams are desperate for the win: Oudenaarde to avoid the drop, and KV Mechelen B to steer clear of the relegation play-offs. We expect KVM B to maintain their momentum and secure a third consecutive victory. We also anticipate over 2.5 goals.
krc gent 🆚 Sparta Petegem
It’s the same old story here: KRC Gent must win to avoid relegation, while Sparta Petegem has nothing left to play for. We’re going with a KRC Gent win & over 2.5 goals!
2ND AMATEUR DIVISION B FIXTURES
The script is different here: the relegated teams are already known, but the battle for promotion is going down to the wire! With only one matchday remaining, both SK Heist and SK Londerzeel are locked on 62 points. Since both teams MUST win to secure the title, we expect the same outcome for both: SK Heist and SK Londerzeel to win, with over 2.5 goals in each match.
