The Belgian top flight is the heart of the national game. From the 2026-2027 season onwards, the highest level features eighteen clubs again, playing a classic calendar without the old play-offs. On this page we set out the factual information behind the available bets: which markets are available, how live betting works during a match, and how the new competition format is structured. For more background, read how the Jupiler Pro League works. Napoleon Sports offers online sports betting and is licensed by the Belgian Gaming Commission. The latest betting markets for each matchday always appear at the top of this page.
The most popular option is the 1X2: you back a home win (1), a draw (X) or an away win (2). With the double chance you cover two of the three possible outcomes in a single prediction, for example a home win or a draw. Both remain a game of chance that carries a risk of losing.
There are also the goal markets, such as both teams to score (BTTS) and the over/under bets. With over/under you predict whether the total number of goals finishes above or below a set line, regardless of who wins the match. If you want to go deeper, there are more specific markets such as the handicap, where a team is given a virtual head start or deficit, or the correct score. You can also combine several selections in an accumulator: every single selection then has to be right for the bet to win.
The available markets may include the 1X2, the double chance and goal markets, among others. No analysis or statistic predicts the outcome with certainty. The full overview per match is shown at the top of this page.
You do not have to place your prediction before kick-off: you can also bet in-play through live football betting once the ball is rolling. The odds then move with the flow of the match. A red card, a goal conceded or a team turning up the pressure all shift the balance. You will find more on following a game live on the Jupiler Pro League live page.
During a match, specific markets are available, such as the next goalscorer or an over/under while the action is under way. The picture can change quickly, which means in-play betting requires more attention than a pre-match prediction. The results and the table reflect how each matchday unfolds. Set a limit for yourself in advance and stick to it, even when a matchday gets hectic.
You can bet on all eighteen participating teams, from title contenders such as KRC Genk, Union Saint-Gilloise and title holder Club Brugge, through to record champions RSC Anderlecht (34 titles), as well as the clubs battling against relegation.
From the 2026-2027 season, the top flight runs on a new format. 18 clubs take part and play 34 matchdays in a single regular season; the play-offs have been scrapped. That also does away with the halving of points and the separate Champions' and Europe Play-offs. The team that finishes top at the end of the season is champion of Belgium.
The top of the table decides the title and the European places. Which European competition and entry round go with each place depends on the UEFA access list and that season's coefficient. The Belgian Cup usually yields a European place as well. At the bottom, the last two clubs are relegated directly to the Challenger Pro League. The season started on 7 August 2026, and the final matchday is scheduled for 23 May 2027. The sides promoted from the Challenger Pro League round out the calendar with extra fixtures; the exact list of clubs and dates is set out in the full Jupiler Pro League calendar.
Alongside the per-match bets, you can bet outright on how a full season plays out. The prediction for the champion is the best known, but there are also markets for the top scorer, the European places and relegation. These bets run across the whole season: you often make your choice early on, and the bet then stays open until the outcome is settled.
You will find a full overview of these long-term markets and how they shift through the year on the page for outright bets on the Jupiler Pro League.
Numbers help you weigh up a match. The table shows the current standings and recent form, while the statistics give detail on goalscorers, clean sheets and discipline. On Napoleon Social you swap views with other players and see how the community reads a match.
Predictions shared on Napoleon Social are user-generated content, not an editorial recommendation. A prediction stays a personal opinion and is no guarantee of a correct outcome. Stay critical whenever so-called sure tips turn up somewhere; they do not exist. Use other people's data and views as an extra reference, and decide for yourself.
