Since 2024/2025, 36 clubs play in one shared league phase (no more groups). Each club plays 8 matches. The top 8 qualify directly for the round of 16; the clubs in positions 9 to 24 play a play-off round for the remaining tickets. From qualification to the final

Qualification

The draw

Knockout phase & final

After the league phase come the play-offs, the round of 16, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals and the final (on 5 June 2027 in Madrid). Every round up to the final is played over two legs; the final is a single match at a neutral venue.
